60 seconds with Tim  

Tim grew up in Darlington in the 70s and 80s and his career was always on the cards - Tim's school report card from Abbey Infants aged 6 in particular, which always said he talked too much!  

He has worked at radio stations across the NorthEast and NorthWest as well as running bars for a while. Now he combines the 2, radio and Jack Daniels on a regular if worryingly basis.

How did you end up working at Alpha 103.2?   
There's a story attatched to that! It involves wanting to have a regular radio job compared to filling in for rubbish presenters who are pulling a sickie, and to be honest, the thought of doing a breakfast show on my home patch, not many can say that!

My ideal day round here would be...   
Having a large breakfast in Lloyds in Crown Street then potter round shops whilst entertaining my daughter/disctracting her from toy shops! Then maybe to South Park to throw cobs at ducks in South Park for a bit, then back home to prepare for a night out pretending I am not over 30 in Skinnergate. Sadly, I am ! 

My favourite place in Darlington...  All of the above!

What's on my iPod/stereo...  I have such a varied taste in music.... anything from Red Hot Chillis....yes i am actually cool to a degree! To Motown, over to Folky stuff. hang on, getting old again.....I love Cascada me, big fish little fish cardboard box!

The worst job I've ever had...  
Selling Ice Cream in the Civic Theatre, seriously, I used to pass the time telling punters we had sold out, whilst standing with a counter full of Cornettos.

My favourite TV show as a kid...  Battle of the Planets, MacGyver, Manimal, Street Hawk, look its an 80s thing isnt it!
