FAMILIES FACE CREDIT CRUNCH
North East families with disabled children are struggling more than most because of the credit crunch.
That's the finding of a report by the Charity - Contact a Family.
They say it costs 3 times more to raise a disabled child - and almost half of the families in this region are now having to borrow money just to pay their heating bills.
